Design: Engineers can work on extremely large complex assemblies, incorporating a large number of intricate parts and/or sub-assemblies; in real time. With support for up to 64GB of system RAM and DUAL NVIDIA Quadro® FX4800/5800 Graphics Cards, 3D Models can be easily updated & manipulated on screen without the normal delays associated with inferior workstation platforms. Complex calculations can be processed in record time, whilst loading complex data sets can takes just a few seconds. Photo realistic graphics options can also be used to enhance design & engineering workflow.

Rendering/Analysis: Photo realistic image can be rendered in the quickest possible time (up to 8-10x faster than conventional 3D design workstations). Designers can also export to specialist VFX software (like Autodesk 3ds max or Maxon Cinema4D etc) to apply complex lighting effects or ray trace rendering techniques. These can be done effortlessly with the DQX64-SE series of professional workstations. Computer Aided Engineering, CFD & FEA calculations can also be processed quickly and efficiently within standard project time frames at up to 4x the performance of our standard X64 series of workstation.


VFXLeading 3D Modeling and VFX specialists that use Autodesk 3ds Max (3D Studio Max), Maya, Studio Tools, Studio Viz, Maxon Cinema4D, Softimage XSI, Newtek Lightwave 3D or Rhino 3D etc can dramatically reduce their project overheads by streamlining the speed at which they work. Projects can now be completed on time with a greater level of realism.

Modeling: Larger, more complex 3D scenes can be modeled in full detail without the memory limitations normally associated with standard single CPU based workstations. The cables have been routed sensibly through the tower case to make for a machine that is a joy to open.This is a whisper-quiet system using high-quality parts. The decision to opt for the highest-quality gear is also evident in the performance of the workstation in daily use."A powerful machine in every respect, but so quiet that you'd barely know it's on – and it won't even cost you the earth" The performance is impressive, but ultimately it's the added care and attention that elevates this machine onto the winner's podium. The quietness of the system in everyday use will make it a joy to be around, and the smart design means it won't be problematic to upgrade.

The IMAGINE X64 is a compact, quiet workstation with a clean and simple design. It’s surprisingly capacious for such a small case, with three optical drive bays and four hard drive bays

This unit performed admirably in our Photoshop and After Effects CS3 tests, slightly faster than we’d expect considering the spec/price. It has a 20x DVD±RW drive and the included Logitech S510 keyboard/mouse combo is a great choice.

Using a complex scene in Maya, the FX 1700 took just 77 seconds to fly a camera through it. This is a lot better than you’d expect from a mid-range system; when compared to a high-end model.
