In a quest to find the best Workstation for my hard earned bucks, I came across CAD2's web site and instantly got the impression these guys knew what they were doing.
Working as a freelance 3D illustrator, I needed a high performance machine that could keep up with my workflow and that's exactly what they delivered, my DQX workstation is quite simply superb.
The service the staff gave was impeccable, I found them extremely helpful, patient and understanding of my requirements, and I was dealt with on a personal level, I never felt like just another customer.
Any future purchases/upgrades will undoubtedly be from CAD2.

We use many software applications and techniques to complete each project, and it is never (ever) a case of just 'clicking render, job done'! Counter to marketing hype, no one application can do it all - in fact, on average we use perhaps 8 or 9 applications for an animation job and 4 or 5 applications to complete an image. This means we have a need for hardware that can be both powerful and flexible, and a network that is both fast and reliable.
We have purchased a wide range of workstations, dedicated render nodes, servers and video editing machines from CAD2. They have understood our needs and have helped us design an integrated system that works. A recent development in our hardware lineup is a series of dedicated, rack based render nodes. This has transformed the speed at which we can render images/animations. CAD2 are always there to help and we look forward to working with them to help us move forward with technology and remain at the leading edge of architectural visualisation.
We have no hesitation in recommending CAD2.

I have been in the graphic design and 3d animation business for just over 14 years, and purchased many computer systems during this period, but since having purchased my latest system from CAD2 I would consider staying with them even if I was to move abroad.
All the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and give each order personal attention. Delivery was quick, the system is working great, and when I had a configuration question the support technician (which I got through to with no queue) spent over 20 minutes on the phone with me and smoothly guided me right through how to get things to work the way I wanted, and also offered some additional tips on how to make the system perform even better.

My workstation arrived the very next day, looking superb.
I had to wait for our IT manager to give it the once over. I did not need to alter the OS setup at all as it is setup beautifully. It starts up like a dream, runs quietly and performs effortlessly.
